A Few Christmas Pictures

Santa Fe Plaza
I love New Mexico. Growing up there I didn't know it was anything special, but now every time I return, I am impressed by it's unique beauty and character and I love it.

Sister-in-law, Trina = Cutest pregnant lady ever
Also, she is the best cook and we eat well, maybe even too well, when she is in the house! Good job Scott. We love you Trina; you're amazing!

Andrew loved my Dad's chickens and has decided we should get some too.

Amelia enjoyed her first Christmas in New Mexico. She loved being held by everyone and she especially loves her Wittle Aunt Wisa!

The entire family minus Dan (who was sorely missed). I wish we lived closer!
Evelyn holding "baby Melia." Both she and Allison loved giving kisses and hugs to their new cousin.

Evelyn loves Grandpa's airplane and was so excited to go up in it. I love this picture with her car seat in the airplane and her big smile. Such a cutie. Every time she sees and airplane back home in New York, she yells, "Grandpa's plane! It's Grandpa!"

What a wonderful vacation! We had so much fun with my family and I am so grateful for them.

Snuggler

Amelia is such a little cuddler and she loves to sleep in warm and snuggly places.

Two of Amelia's favorite places to sleep:

1. In grandma's lap. If grandma holds very still, she'll sleep there for hours.

2. In bed with dad. She loves to snug close.

Amelia loves he swing that her sweet friend Thomas gave her when he moved :) I know she's not looking at the camera, but I still think it's a sweet picture, and it reminds me that I need to take more pictures again...I've been slacking the past couple of weeks and she is growing and changing so fast. I love it. She is so much fun and I am loving every minute and every stage.

One of my favorite things that Amelia has learned since being born is that she is not dying every time we change her diaper or her clothes. For the first few days she used to SCREAM every time we changed her. Now she actually loves it and talks, smiles and kicks her legs and flails her arms with glee whenever we change her. Andrew just hopes she learns that life can be fun with your pants on too before she starts school.

Daddy's girl

So funny. The other day Andrew said, "I don't want her to grow up. I don't really like talking to toddlers." Then I reminded him that he didn't used to like cooing, smiling, baby talking, acting silly and gaga-ing to get a baby to smile at him either. He'll be fine.

They are so sweet together. Amelia loves her dad. And she is the apple of his eye.
