Doctor Stats:
10 months old

Thus the "tiny" shirt in the above picture :)
She is still wearing 3-6 month clothes, so we are getting good use out of her baby clothes!

Climbing
Amelia loves crawling around and is pretty fearless and adventuresome. Lately she has been having fun climbing under chairs and stools. If she sees a toy that she wants (or a piece of lint, for that matter) on the other side of a chair, she just crawls right on through to get it. Sometimes she'll crawl around the easy way, but often it is done this way:
And sometimes she'll stop and chill for a picture while she figures out if she can get out again.
And if she doesn't have a binky in her mouth, the chair leg will do.
See the piece of lint in this picture that was motivating her to climb underneath this stool? Oh, you thought I was kidding about the lint. Nope, little tiny specks are apparently very motivating to little tiny people.

I can sort of pull her bangs back in little twisty ties or little itty bitty clips. I like it because it makes her look more girly.

Florence
A couple of weeks ago we went to Florence for the weekend. It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed some of our favorite hikes.

More summer fun
Amelia loves the water and loved the floaties at the YW pool party

She is growing and changing so fast. Okay, one last story, and then I'm off to bed:

She is learning how to be a good sharer...in certain situations at least. She doesn't so much like to share her toys with other adorable babies and she just might scream and cry and throw a little tantrum if you try (or another baby tries) to take something from her...but she has learned how to be very good at sharing her food with us. Last week at church, for example, she was putting her snacks in her mouth, sucking on them till they were good and gooey and then insistently trying to put them in Andrew's mouth. Pretty funny. As long as you weren't Andrew.

I should be doing laundry.

No really, my clothes smell like baby spit up, I should be doing laundry.

But instead I am looking through old pictures on my computer. Remember these good times?

Like this hotel that mom and dad stayed at in New York City because it was the only place they could stay for less than $300 a night...
Or this time when I acted like a tough Marine....
...until Matt told me he wore that gear everyday for 7 months in Iraq and NEVER washed it!
Or when Matt surprised Wittle Wisa and took her to Sizzler on their anniversary...
Or when we had a family reunion at Machu Pichu...
Or when this was my car (no power steering and a squealing air conditioner to say nothing of the paint job)...
Or when I was on the cover of Baseball America...
Or when we sweated while made S'mores in a California "winter"...
Or when I married the man of my dreams...
Or when Andrew and I painted our bathroom fresh lime green...
Or when my belly looked like this...
And then she came out like this....
And now she looks like this...

So many good memories. I'll do laundry in the morning. Or maybe next week...

Good night!
