Thus the "tiny" shirt in the above picture :)
She is still wearing 3-6 month clothes, so we are getting good use out of her baby clothes!
Climbing
Amelia loves crawling around and is pretty fearless and adventuresome. Lately she has been having fun climbing under chairs and stools. If she sees a toy that she wants (or a piece of lint, for that matter) on the other side of a chair, she just crawls right on through to get it. Sometimes she'll crawl around the easy way, but often it is done this way:
And sometimes she'll stop and chill for a picture while she figures out if she can get out again.
And if she doesn't have a binky in her mouth, the chair leg will do.
See the piece of lint in this picture that was motivating her to climb underneath this stool? Oh, you thought I was kidding about the lint. Nope, little tiny specks are apparently very motivating to little tiny people.
I can sort of pull her bangs back in little twisty ties or little itty bitty clips. I like it because it makes her look more girly.

Florence
A couple of weeks ago we went to Florence for the weekend. It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed some of our favorite hikes.

Amelia loves the water and loved the floaties at the YW pool party
She is growing and changing so fast. Okay, one last story, and then I'm off to bed:
She is learning how to be a good sharer...in certain situations at least. She doesn't so much like to share her toys with other adorable babies and she just might scream and cry and throw a little tantrum if you try (or another baby tries) to take something from her...but she has learned how to be very good at sharing her food with us. Last week at church, for example, she was putting her snacks in her mouth, sucking on them till they were good and gooey and then insistently trying to put them in Andrew's mouth. Pretty funny. As long as you weren't Andrew.

That kid is too darn cute for her own good! I love her. And you, of course:)
Looks like life with Amelia is never dull. Loved the chair pictures! Do you have any more pictures of your Florence trip?
Love,
Mom
I love when I see on my blogroll that the checketts have posted again. I think it's sad that we live about a mile away and never see you unless it's at the ballpark.
I think my children were 8 and 10% about the middle of my first trimester.
She looks totally like a girl even without barrettes. I feel sorry for any male children in your future...they will be far too beautiful for their own good.
Call me sometime. We can go for a powerwalk with little missy. :)
Oh my gosh, she is so old, and so adorable!! She looks exactly like both of you...how is that possible?
Our new addition was born two weeks ago...baby Henry is happy and healthy.
We miss you guys! Any plans to go to New Orleans any time soon? That is where we will be for the next 4 years. Maybe I should just call or email you!
She's so adorable! And she's such a pretty girl! I can't wait to see her soon! Her close up pictures make her look very related to her cousins! I love that you have pictures of her climbing through 3 different chairs and stools! So cute. I forget how busy they get, so fast. Before I know it, Natalie will be at my feet and getting into everything!
She's such a little girl! Natalie is not even 3 pounds lighter!
Oh I just love tiny kiddos! I wish I could cuddle her, but maybe she wouldn't hold still for that...I could try luring her with some lint!
